The Mahabhrata Movie Response

I found the movie interesting... Although very long as is, it is amazing how they fit the whole mahabharata in a 3 hour film. Each of the characters have rich individual characteristics and it is also wonderful that they used different ethnicity cast for each characters. My favorite character in the movie is Bihma. He was true to his words at all times and practiced his dharma quite well, however, i was puzzled when he stayed low during the dice game. He knew that the game was unfair yet even though he is known for being just and wise, he stood still and watch the pandavas get cheated. Does anyone have an answer for this?
